I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
