Administration Denounces 'Democrat Fabrication' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Disclosed

House Democrats have published a new tranche of what they termed "disturbing" pictures from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 unveiled later on Friday account for a small number of the nearly 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Included in the prominent personalities seen in the opening set are public figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Response

The White House addressed the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the pictures for political purposes and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative stated, asserting that "the current government has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for disclosure, releasing reams of papers, and urging further investigations into Epstein's liberal connections."

Democratic Lawmaker Remarks

The photographs were released lacking captions, but per a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's connections to affluent people.

"Now is the occasion to halt this White House obfuscation and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he stated in a comment.

The publication of these documents occurs alongside the oversight committee pressing on with its probe into the Epstein case.
